With the holiday season in full swing, engagement season is also upon us! Did you know that December is the most common month for engagements? It seems fitting because of all the love and happiness we see in December! Here are some helpful tips if you think you will be engaged soon or if you have already been asked!
Before getting engaged:
-Talk with your fiance if there is a specific style, brand, shape, etc that you want in a ring
-There is nothing wrong with going to ring shops and figuring out what you prefer and don’t
-Talk about a budget, if any, so your fiance knows where your head is at regarding the specific ring you are wanting
-You do not need to pick a wedding band before the engagement and that can be something you two do together afterwards
After getting engaged:
-Have a discussion with your fiance and both of your parents of a guest list
-Either decide on a specific date, or go tour venues and make a decision once you have picked your venue
-Go on as many venue tours as you can and do your research before going
-Talk with your fiance and anyone who would be paying for some of the wedding to discuss budget
-Once you have the venue picked out, you can start to research other vendors you will need
