As a budding wedding venue, Foundry 45 has had the privilege to be part of several love stories. Since opening in May of 2022, we have witnessed over 30 couples say, “I do.” It’s safe to say that in June of 2023 our hearts were immediately captured by Molly and Jacob. It was such a delight to be a part of their wedding journey! Join us as we take you back to that magical day…
Love at First Sight
When Molly and Jacob first came to tour Foundry 45, we were still putting the finishing touches on the venue. This couple had such a vision of what they wanted for their wedding. Even amidst the clutter of boxes, tools and equipment, they could see the buildings’ potential. It was love at first sight! “When we toured Foundry, the only thing that was finished was the main bar and obviously the exterior. As soon as we toured the place, we saw a vision. Jessica Helmer also did a great job explaining everything and showed us she was a true wedding planning professional. All the other venues we toured didn’t have a person like Jessica which is ultimately why we decided to choose Foundry 45.”
Their Dream Venue
Foundry 45, nestled in the heart of the Kettle Moraine, was the perfect backdrop to Molly and Jacob’s special day. Combining rustic and industrial elements, the venue shows how two things can seamlessly blend to make something beautiful. When asked what made their day special, they responded with: “I think the biggest thing would just be having all our family and friends there to share the special moment. Everything was so organized. We didn’t really have to worry about that on our wedding day which left room for more memories!”
A Personal Touch
Soft candlelight, classic white accents and pops of green pulled together the décor, creating an elegant and classic look. Another personal touch came from their guest book – an antique phone that guests could leave a voice message on. It was such a unique touch (how fun to listen to all those messages after the wedding!)
A Night to Remember
From a choreographed first dance to an energetic wedding party ready to celebrate the night away, Molly and Jacob truly had a magical day at Foundry 45. We are so grateful that these two lovebirds chose to celebrate with us! Their parting words on being newlyweds sum up their love perfectly: “It’s been great! Wedding planning was fun, exciting, and stressful so it’s nice to be past it and look back on all the fun memories. We’ve just been enjoying each others company which has been a refreshing change of pace.”
We wish Molly & Jacob a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and adventures as beautiful as their wedding day. We hope their story serves as a reminder that love is the greatest gift of all.
